Commander Dermot Chenevix Coote

Dermot Chenevix Coote, OBE, who died 20 December, 2005, aged 90, was a scion of the Coote Baronets (created 1621). He was born in 1915, son of Charles Chenevix Coote, OBE (1884-1944) by his wife Alice Maud, only daughter of the Most Rev. John Baptist Crozier, Archbishop of Armagh, and Primate of All Ireland; career:-->Commander, Royal Navy, War Operations in Madagascar (was mentioned in despatches; appointed OBE (Military), 1967; married 1945, Dorothy Oliver, who died in 1999, and has issue, Christopher and Richard.

The funeral took place at Bath Crematorium 30 Dec, 2005.
